Diode Laser Training Course

Here at Leasertech TT, we offer the basic Diode Laser Training Course. Whether you’re new to lasers or looking for advanced education, we are dedicated to teach you how to integrate these technologies for the benefit of your patients and your practice.

The Diode Laser Training Course is a 3-hour training course broken up into two sections:

Within this module, you will learn an in-depth explanation of the essential concepts of lasers, laser-tissue interaction, spot size, power density and how different tips can affect your clinical results.

During this module, you will learn about the performance of the following:

• Laser Bacterial Reduction
  A simple technique to reduce bacterial load within the dental sulcus or periodontal pocket.


• Non-Surgical Perio
  Using your diode laser as an adjunct to scaling and root planning. Learn the rationale, technique and clinical benefits.


• Soft Tissue Restorative Procedures
  Techniques for tissue retraction, subgingival restorative access and uncovering dental implants. Included will be instructions for pulpotomy and cosmetic gingivectomy.


• Labial and Lingual Frenectomy
  Tips, techniques and justification for treating both labial hypertrophic tissues and ankyloglossia cases.


• Diode Laser Whitening
  Step by step instruction on how to use your Epic diode laser to whiten teeth, including best practices and protocols.


• Biolase Epic Laser Setup
  A very helpful guide to unpacking your Epic diode laser, with a description of components, to get you on your way faster!
